Job Description
Title: Financial Accountant
Location: Larnaca
Hours: 9pm to 6pm
We have a requirement for a Financial Accountant who will assist in the running of the finance department. The successful candidate will be working towards a recognized professional accountancy qualification and have experience of working within the financial services sector. The main duties will include, but not limited to;
• Ensuring all daily reconciliations of financial information are completed and authorized.
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and year end statutory accounts
• Financial analysis on individual client and overall company profitability
• Bank payments, postings and reconciliations
• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Accurate posting of financial transactions within the accounts software package including journal entries.
• Producing reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis for management as well as working within a team to produce reporting as required internally and externally under our license requirements.
Essential skills & requirements:
Working towards a professional accounting qualification
Extremely detail orientated
Excellent Excel skills
Experience of Sage would be advantageous
Fluent English language and grammar both verbal and written
Larnaca (or close regions) based
