Job Description:
Provide human factors engineering and user research support to application development teams
Communicate a usability plan for a product area
Conduct usability evaluations, focus groups, customer research, competitive analysis and survey research for software products
Produce specifications describing user characteristics, user needs, and user interface requirements for product development
Develop usability test plans and materials
Operating video recording and data logging equipment as part of usability evaluations
Employ user research methodologies to identify user requirements
Planning and conducting contextual research, analyzing data, interpreting results, and presenting research findings to product development teams
Document existing procedures and policies
Managing assigned projects to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.

A University Degree in Information Technology or any related field
At least 2 years of usability engineering job experience in an industrial setting in the areas of gathering user requirements, scenario development, usability evaluation, and questionnaire/survey design
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively on multidisciplinary teams
Experience applying user-centered design methods to product development
Self-motivated team player willing to "do what it takes" to get the job done
Attention to detail
Fluent in the English language both oral and written
