Junior Mechanical Engineer
We are looking for a motivated design engineer to participate in the development of innovative devices and products. Work as part of a team driving products through their lifecycle from concept generation, through a high-level design, to component and assembly design and associated documentation. Candidate must have excellent problem solving and analytical skills and be able to learn quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Transition concepts into products (Drafting) using SolidWorks, defining requirements, selecting materials and processes, interacting with suppliers and manufacturers, and documenting the development process.
- Evaluate designs through prototype testing and requirement verification.
- Troubleshoot design failure modes to root cause and develop quick, effective solutions.
- Coordinate with others in a multi-disciplinary team environment including electronic, software, and system engineers.
- Generate Production drawings and associated documentation.
Requirements & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 1 year design experience.
- Proficient in SoildWorks (a must).
- Knowledgeable in thermal analysis tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, multi-task, and effectively interact with other Engineering disciplines and external contacts.
- Experience in designing sheet and solid metallic devices.
- Ability to handle high work load while working within a fast paced, multi-national environment and meeting non-flexible deadlines.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
Other requirements
- EU passport is a major advantage.
- Able to work effectively individually or as part of a small team.
- Excellent oral, written, presentation and communication skills.
- Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure.
