IT Network & Systems Administrator:

Opportunity:

We are a leading financial company in Limassol, seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and talented IT Systems Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to work for a stable company grow professionally within the company

  Key Responsibilities:

·         Administer and maintain systems support for software, hardware, servers and printers, test, troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve all problems

·         Ensuring proper and smooth operation of our platform

·         Assisting with the administration of database management systems, networking operations, Windows and Linux operating systems

·         Performing routine audits of systems and software, and resolving any problems identified

·         Providing support and training to staff on IT related issues

·         Performing daily backup operations

·         Liaising with external associates for problem solving

·         Reading products specifications and Working with several outsourcing contractors / vendors

·         Negotiate prices

·         Manage Inventory and warehouse storage list

  Main Requirements:

·         Good communication and verbal skills

·         BSc/MSc in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or any other relevant field

·         Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT Support, preferably in the financial industry is an advantage

·         Administrative knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and MySQL

·         Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

·         Proactive and efficient with strong organisational skills

·         Ability to multitask, prioritise and work independently

Technical Experience:

Deep knowledge in:

·         OS: Win 7/8/10, Server 2012, 2016, Debian Linux

·         IP Networking: Switches, Routers and FW (Sophos would be an advantage)

·         Active Directory

·         Hardware / Software troubleshooting and maintenance

·         VOIP (Alcatel-Lucent, X-Lite, Softphone, Asterisk, …)

Basic Knowledge in (Not Mandatory, advantages):

·         VMWARE, ESXi

·         Mail Servers (Postfix, Dovecot, Exchange, …)

·         Cloud Services: Office 365, Google Apps, AWS, Azure

·         Scripts

·         VPN,SSL

   

Nice to have:

·         Great sense of responsibility, high skilled, organized with excellent documentation skills and self-learning ability, good communication and verbal skill with great personal skills and service oriented

·         PCI-DSS experience with regulation and auditing procedures

·         IT related certification from Vendors like Cisco (CCNA, CCNP or CCIE), Microsoft (MCSA or MCSE) and CompTIA (A+, Network+ or Security+) will be highly considered (not mandatory)
