Job Description

We are currently seeking a junior software developer to join our team. The responsibilities of the candidate will be to develop new software for the company, maintain and develop various of the company's software and provide support to our numerous clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
  • Knowledge of Microsoft development technologies like .Net framework, Winforms, C#, VB.net and VB.
  • Knowledge of SQL.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2008.
  • General knowledge of working with databases.
  • Knowledge of Android Development will be considered as an advantage.
  • Knowledge of web technologies like Asp.net, CSS, XML, HTML etc.

The individual

  • Confident and professional manner.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and pressure.
  • Ability to work within a team.

Responsibilities

·         Provide 3rd line IT support for clients using telephone, remote access technology or face to face assistance.

  • Develop new software for the company based upon customer requests.
  • Maintain and further develop the already existing company's software.
  • Use his/her expertise to improve usability and appearance of the company's products.
  • Provide assistance when is needed in the support section.
  • Provide guidance to the clients about new features and general inquiries.

·         Installation and maintenance of company’s software including Hospitality POS Software, Doctors Software, Wholesale and retail Software and IT equipment including all point of sale peripherals, networking and servers. 

·         Testing software updates.

·         Responsible for company software updates in accordance with customer needs.

·         Ensuring software updates run efficiently before installing the update to Customers.
