Our continuous business development dictates a need to nurture a strong cross-functional team of high-caliber professionals, currently we are seeking to hire an experienced Senior US FIXED INCOME TRADER to join our Trading Desk team. Successful candidates will have a high degree of independence, sense of responsibility and a challenging mind-set to perform in a highly demandable environment, develop and implement their own strategies (we give high priority to candidates who have a proven record of accomplishment in the respected sphere). The offer includes, however, is not limited to a competitive remuneration, bonuses linked to both individual and corporate performance, and (if needed) a relocation package to Limassol, Cyprus.

Responsibilities:

·       Lead and/or participate in Portfolio Management in accordance with a fixed income investment profile approved by the company;

·       Engage in portfolio optimization and scenario analysis, including the delivery of portfolio analytics and investment analysis to the sales desk;

·       Analyze market data and risk with the aim to maximize understanding of market implications and consequently perform fixed income investment and execute trading;

·       Support research projects on portfolio construction and multi-asset class investment strategies;

·       Contribute to the company’s disciplined investment policy and new product development efforts;

·       Collaborate and co-operate with different levels of investment support functions;

·       Analyze and report on portfolio performance, relative to their respective benchmarks;

·       Establish and maintain professional contacts within the fixed income markets to further develop market knowledge and expertise;

·       When required, take part in business development projects and support growth initiates. 

Requirements:

·       Ability to work based on US market trading schedule (working hours and holiday schedule);

·       Higher Education in Applied Mathematics/Econometrics/Statistics/Finance and Investments; 

·       Fluency in English (oral and written) is a must;

·       Good command of Microsoft Office (in particular Excel) and Bloomberg are desirable;

·       Strong analytical and quantitative skills – mathematics, econometrics, statistics, computer science;

·       Highly developed communication and presentations skills (preferably prior experience in interaction with investors, both current and potential); 

·       Ability to work under pressure, ability to prioritize and adhere to deadlines;

·       Proven track-record in the respective will be considered an advantage;

·       Ability to work independently and to understand the interactions/decisions on the Desk as a Team.
